Notary Michael Martin is the senior partner of WBW Solicitors.

As well as undertaking Notarial work, Michael takes on all aspects of commercial work. 

He is Company Secretary for the Exeter Chamber of Commerce. 

Michael has been with the firm for nearly twenty years and was involved in the opening and development of the Exeter office.

Prior to that he was based at the Newton Abbot office and heavily involved in the local business community.
   
A notary certifies identity in connection with commercial and personal, international business transactions. For example:-  

  • Commercial contracts and trade or business agreements
  • Your MyNotary can notarise and legalise documents in connection with real estate transactions all over the world.  And deal with any necessary further certification for countries not party to the Hague Convention: e.g. UAE, China, Cape Verde

  • To legalise/apostille documents at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office
  • To prepare and or witness Powers of Attorney
  • Statutory declaration witnessing for making a pension claim, proof of being alive, an affidavit of loss
  • Certify copies of translations, passports, birth certificates, death certificates and grants of probate when claiming inheritance overseas
  • When adopting children or to obtain a visa for a child to travel
  • To sponsor relatives from abroad or in connection with travel documentation and work permits
